Breathing in gold may be one of the easiest ways to experience the uplifting vibrational frequencies gold has to offer. If you already have a regular practice of breathing, the "breathing in gold" process will dovetail nicely with it, adding benefits to what you already experience.
This practice can be done lying down or sitting up. Before starting, do whatever you normally do to ensure you won't be disturbed for 10-15 minutes.
Start by focusing on an area of your body where you are feel tension or tightness. As you inhale deeply, imagine beautiful Golden Light flowing into this area. On your exhale, give the tension or tightness permission to leave. Simply intend that any darker, denser energies related to the tension and tightness are either rising easily up into the ethers or spilling down into the ground, going deep into the Earth. These energies will be recycled and reused.
Keep breathing into this area until you have a greater sense of relaxation here or perhaps that your energy is flowing more easily into this area. If it takes several minutes before this shift occurs, that is totally okay. Give yourself time to allow this area to completely fill with golden Light.
Find another area of your body that could use this kind of loving attention and repeat this step. Breathe in the golden Light and exhale out the stagnant energies.
When you have finished working with any tight or tense areas of your body, you can begin the process of filling your entire body with Golden Light. An easy way to do that is to breathe in the Golden Light into the bottoms of your feet and allow it to begin filling your feet and legs. It may take several breaths to completely fill your legs. However many breaths it takes is fine.
Keep moving up the body, filling the hips, pelvis, and torso with Golden Light and releasing anything that no longer serves you and is ready to go. Then move onto the chest and into the shoulders, arms and fingers. Finally, fill the neck and the entire head with Golden Light.
Once your body is completely full, pretend you can breathe the Golden Light into the energy field around your body, commonly called the aura. Let the Golden Light take the place of any dense or darker energies. You don't have to see or sense these energies; simply ask that anything not in your highest good be allowed to leave your energy field.
When your entire body and aura is filled with Golden Light, say either silently or aloud: "I give thanks for this beautiful Golden Light filling me, surrounding me, and uplifting my energy."
