driving in gold
by antonia reaves
Even the most calm person can find it challenging at times not to become upset while driving. How many times have we all thought unpleasant words when we've been cut off, nearly hit by another car, or in some way inconvenienced by other drivers? Even if we do not experience full-blown road rage, our bodies automatically tense up, our breathing shortens, and it may even take a half hour or longer for us to fully calm down.
However, when your car and you are vibrating at the higher frequency of Gold you are not only more "visible" energetically, a path is also cleared of negativity, allowing for a more pleasant driving experience. I regularly use the processes described below to do just that. Now I end up feeling irritated only when I forget to use it.
Either of these processes can be done anytime prior to being on the road. You can also do these processes while you are sitting in your car preparing to leave or at a stop light.
Focus on Your Route
If your route is a familiar one, such as a morning and evening commute to and from work, then picturing your route in your mind should not be too difficult. However, if you are going to be driving somewhere new, then I recommend using a map as a way to focus your mind. You may want to have a printout of your route, in any case, if you tend to experience visualizing as challenging.
Process A: Tunnel of Gold Light
The next step is to imagine a tunnel of Gold Light that you will be driving through your entire journey, from wherever you start to where you end up. This tunnel will have ample room for your car and will "light the way" not just for you to be able to negotiate the road ahead with greater ease, but will also help in being noticed by other drivers.
Picture this tunnel as if you were driving through it from start to finish. You can speed up your journey in your mind so as to finish it in just a few minutes. If you have a printout of a route that is new to you, imagine the tunnel of Gold Light on the map from start to finish. Don't worry about the size of your image or even visualizing it perfectly. Your intent that this tunnel of Gold Light will benefit you during your trip (or trips if you have multiple stops) will be enough to create it that way.
If it seems like your tunnel of Gold Light fades, you can always recreate it on the spot. Just make sure that your attention always stays on your driving.
Process B: Path of Gold Light:
For some people, visualizing a tunnel is too complex. If you find that to be the case, you can always simply imagine a path of Gold Light before you, extending far ahead of your car.
You can also picture of path of Gold Light when you are trying to change lanes and the way appears to be blocked. Just "see" a path of Gold Light extending from your car over to the lane where you want to go.
Similarly, a path of Gold Light can be invoked whenever you are backing up. Again, imagine a path of Gold Light, this time from the rear of your car, extending behind you and arcing into the direction you want to back up.
Followup
Pay attention to your driving experiences and take note of any changes. At times myself and others who have used these processes have experienced an increase in their awareness, as opposed to the more typical experience of being on "automatic pilot" when driving a familiar route.
Noticing all the differences you can from using these processes serves to enhance their effectiveness.
May all of your journey be continually filled with the beautiful Light of Gold.
