room of gold for increasing feelings of self-worth and inner value

"Too many people overvalue what they are not and undervalue what they are."--Malcolm S. Forbes
Wouldn't it be nice if you could have a place to go to where you could reconnect with a stronger sense of self-worth and inner value? Through using the power of imagination anyone can create such a place in their minds and the guidelines below describe how to do that.
Step One: Find a Quiet Space To Meditate
Although this process will not take that long, you may want to make sure you will not be disturbed for at least 15 minutes, as sometimes it takes awhile to settle down, quiet the mind, and concentrate on doing this process.
Get comfortable, turn off your cell phone, and begin to relax. Take several deep breaths, allowing your mind and body to let go of any concerns at this moment.
Step Two: Imagine a Beautiful Room
In your mind, picture a room of comfortable size that has just the right flooring, colors, and other features to bring you a sense of beauty and serenity. This room can look like one you have actually been in, or it can be a version of a photo you have seen, or it can be something you have created from your imagination.
Really tune into what this room looks like and feels like to you. Engage all your senses to make this room as real as you can for yourself. Where is there light in this room and where does it seem to originate? What sounds do you make as you walk around in this space? Are there any fragrances emanating from the decor in this room?
Notice how relaxed and at home you feel in this room. This space is just for you and only you.
Step Three: Fill The Room with Gold
Now that you have a complete picture of this room as it is in this moment, begin to fill it with various forms of gold. You might want to see gold bars begin to pile up against the walls, or perhaps you imagine open treasure chests filled with gold coins. Perhaps the walls and ceiling become solid gold and the floor on which you are standing becomes gold as well. Really use your imagination and play with different images--always going for the ones that feel the most fun to visualize.
Fill your room with as much gold feels good to you. If you start to feel the space has become cramped and that you don't have quite enough space around you, then visualize less gold. Your own personal comfort level is what is important here.
Step Four: Let the Gold Represent your Self-Worth & Value
With your room completely filled with different forms of gold metal all through it, ask yourself what dollar amount might match the worth of all the gold here? Is it one million, two million, or much, much higher, say over a billion? Just let yourself come up with a monetary number that feels right.
Then ask yourself the following question: "What if my self-worth and inner value equaled all the gold in this room?" Keep asking yourself that question over and over again, repeating it as many times as you can to yourself for several minutes.
Doing so will begin to engage your subconscious mind in answering that question and you should soon notice your feelings shifting, your energy raising, and indeed, feeling a greater sense of self-worth and inner value begin to surface where you can experience it fully.
After several minutes, release the image of your room of gold, knowing that you can come back here and repeat this process as often as you like. Then bring your attention fully back into the room where you are sitting or lying. Open your eyes, stand up and stretch your body. You may want to also drink some water to complete this process.
Followup
Check in with your inner guidance to see how often to do this process to effectively increase your overall feelings of self-worth and inner value. Then follow through on that guidance. Making notes on what you experience while doing the process and any changes in your thoughts and feelings in the subsequent days and weeks will validate your experiences.
