Increasing Well-Being

"The better you feel, the better it gets."--Abraham-Hicks
When our children are having difficulties getting along with each other or keep getting into trouble, we give them a "time out" that gives them a chance to get back in touch with their own natural good-feeling natures. Yet, as adults, we rarely give ourselves a much-needed "time-out" to restore our connection to the naturally good-feeling beings we really are.
Taking a few minutes several times a day to follow the guidelines below can make a significant, positive improvement in immediate and overall life experience. This process can be done while on public transit, such as a bus or commuter train. However, as with all the other energy exercises described on this website, do not use this technique while driving.
Start by making your body as comfortable as possible. Then close your eyes and begin breathing slowly and deeply. After about a minute of focusing on your breathing, imagine that your whole body is surrounded in a beautiful bubble of Golden Light.
Notice that the Golden Light in your bubble is gently moving in various directions all throughout your bubble. See or sense the movement of this light as it swirls and twirls all around you. See it dance above your head, then in front of you, to the left and right of you, behind you, and under your feet. Feel the Golden Light moving in such a way that you experience a soothing massage of different areas of your body.
Allow yourself to feel comforted and bathed by the loving care offered by this Golden Light. In the same way you might let yourself soak in a tub of hot water, let yourself fully relax into this time of self-healing. Release any worry, doubt, and anxieties into the bubble and sense these denser energies being transformed into their higher expressions. Let the golden light wrap you like a blanket.
Stay in this state for as long as you like. You can call upon your bubble of Golden Light anytime you wish. It will always be there for you.
